The addition of coach Bubba Stastney has been a big factor in the Celina girls reaching the state tournament in Austin.

Daughters Presley and K.J. are the Bobcats’ second and third leading scorers, respectively. Presley, a senior guard, averages 10.2 points and 4.1 assists. K.J., a 5-10 freshman, averages 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists entering Thursday’s game against Lorena at the Erwin Center in Austin.
